Hello!

 

My name is Candice Shafer and I love love love to read books! Especially those with dark romance involved in between the pages. I fell in love with the idea of writing my own dark romance book and well here we are. This is my first dark romance book that is filled with thrills, suspense and romance all wrapped in one. When I wrote my book, I had the voice of narrator, Teddy Hamilton, in mind. So, it kind of took off from there when I wrote.

 

I am a girl mom to teens now and dog and tortoise mom as well. So, you can imagine how busy my life is with school and sports on top of my regular job. I live in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with my bachelor's in criminal justice. I worked for a local police department as a Fingerprint Technician for a couple years and then decided to take another route and went to the accounting field as I had to get away from the 24/7 gig to have more time for my family. I met my boyfriend while working at the police department though, and we have been together for about 9 years now.

 

I am on TikTok and love engaging with the BookTok community! I like to hear the book reviews and get ideas of more books I need to add to my TBR list. I support indie authors as I am an indie author myself and we all need support doing this all ourselves.
